Fear, as the great book says, is the mind killer.

It is certainly used as a social control mechanism. But that may be more subtle and multi-layered than we suppose. That the bugmen have been effectively corralled into giving up their freedoms over fear of infection is clear. But what of we who have seen through that deception?

We're scared of the manipulators who enacted this plan. What is their purpose? What will they do next? This fear, too, can serve as a control mechanism - inducing us to keep our heads down, or to act rashly, or to jump at shadows in the night.

The point is not that we should not know fear, only that we should not be ruled by it.

(And thanks for the shout man, much appreciated!)

As Heather and Bret recommend, more time around campfires. One day, it would be a beautiful thing to campfire with some of the great minds that write, read, and comment on TGC.

Unfortunately most are unaware that fear could be either your best friend or your worst enemy. The physical reality of duality is not comprimised of opposites. Opposites do not exist, only the appearance of opposites exist. If opposites really existed all energy, all life would be in an eternal war with itself and would eventually self-destruct and you can take that possibility of the table. People can self-destruct buy not energy. It can only be transformed. The appearnce of oppposites exist so that we can expierence those appearances and at some point arrive at the place where we realize they do not exist at all within energy . The point I am making is that all the fear TPTB throw is only effective if one accepts it as being real. I know that is earsier said than done but that does not change that fact. Couage is simply refusing to accept fear as your enemy and once that is able to be done you will begin to see it as a friend that in the same way that your self-love guides you through life so does fear.

"The real hopeless victims of mental illness are to be found among those who appear to be most normal. "Many of them are normal because they are so well adjusted to our mode of existence, because their human voice has been silenced so early in their lives, that they do not even struggle or suffer or develop symptoms as the neurotic does. They are normal not in what may be called the absolute sense of the word; they are normal only in relation to a profoundly abnormal society. Their perfect adjustment to that abnormal society is a measure of their mental sickness."

There does seem to be a lot of self-assured certains. This can be noticed by reading comments on Substack, blogs and You Tube videos. I think that was a great point. However, I think most people can soon see who the self-assured certains are as some of them seem to be the assholes and agitators with their comments and are not willing to change or see a different perspective. even when shown evidence to the contrary. I sometimes feel true discourse is no longer used in our society but rather just insults and degradation which are probably 95% from the self-assured certains. Why, I don't know. That would be a whole new dissertation. Most that comment to your articles seem to want and to have true discourse. As someone commented already, it would be great to sit aound the campfire with some of the other people here for a good discussion! Will be linking as usual@ https://nothingnewunderthesun2016.com/

Awesome reply. So much to bounce off. I'll get to it shortly. Really appreciate your thinking process Good Citizen, and stimulating some right-hemisphere coarse semantic coding to maintain semantic activation of solution-orientated prefrontal activity so we can be creative problem solvers ;-)

Obama said something to the effect of “We don’t have time for a meeting of The Flat Earth Society…”

Having no idea what he was talking about, I researched; fwiw- The Flat Earth Society (on YouTube) is controlled straw dog foolishness.

The International Flat Earth Research Society shows history and science and the scientism that is promulgated. Its relevance? The Mu$k acquisition and mass hypnosis, or whatever you want to call it today.

This link just came out yesterday; it’s another group of researchers who link not only the human but the divine. It’s a bit long, but worth the price:

The higher the level of knowledge of a particular study, the farther away one becomes of why the whole planet exists. The best overall idea I can think of. We know a whole lot about nothing!

Fear is the greatest motivator.

You mentioned how we should have feared the response. Yes, some of us did. We remembered the past.

However, many people only remember what they're told, from books, from sources, from centralized data.

What you are saying here is sometims an act of BRAVADO, which is not necessarily connected to the ego per se. It is simply playing over your head. A lot of folks go down behind BRAVADO. That said, I basically agree with your statement that it is all about the couageous action in the moment; however, what is the criteria for that courageous action? To me it is when an action souced from my love of self is trying to be denied by someone or something, whether it be an individual, a government, a whatever. That is when I step to the plate and draw the line in the sand. Cheers.

Oh, I freakin' LOVE this post, TGC! I raved about it on my page and shared it! MOST EXCELLENT. There are three men, specifically in my thoughts today, that I would LOVE to read this to... I don't know if Bugmen can hear very well, when the voice is of OTHER, but it fires up my hope that maybe, just maybe, something might "stick." Anyway, so well done, thanks. xo

Thank you for your writings. Yours are the most thought provoking of the Substack writers I read. Thank you for the introduction to Winston and Lain McGilchrist.
